Happy Anniversary!

April 1st is a very meaningful day for a variety of reasons. First and most importantly, it was three years ago today I became the National Spokesperson for Janome-America, Inc. In my 25+ years in this industry this is one of the biggest honors I could ever have dared to dream; and it is a roll I cherish very much! I’m thrilled to introduce my newest quilt, SEASONS, to you!

This cheery quilt has been in the making for almost two years! I spent a lot of time working on the design of this quilt and then actually sewing it; but I couldn’t share much of my progress with you except for occasional “sneak peeks.” To finally be able to unveil this quilt to you is something I’ve dreamed of for the longest time!

SEASONS will be featured as the 2021 series quilt in American Quilter ...

I hinted I had a new quilt in the works back in February. As I pieced the blocks, I posted a few sneak peeks.

After I finished the quilt top, I shared a picture of it in my rearranged studio during the early weeks of the pandemic. 

Then I sent the quilt top to my very talented friend, Birgit Schuller, and she frosted it with her exquisite machine quilting! It was wonderful to work with her again on a quilt (thank you so much, Birgit!) When I received the quilt back from her, I was thrilled; but I still needed ...
